Recommendations for food/hang-outs/must do & see during your stay at Skyhouse!
Living in this majestic mountain community for the last four years I've tried absolutely everywhere & everything! Although there are multiple great places to choose from, I have included my very top favorites! Food places, hang-outs, must do & see places! I hope you enjoy my recommendations:)
Great cozy gourmet pizza place with outdoor dining under the trees, indoor dining or downstairs beer & wine bar (weekend entertainment in bar). Dine in/Take-Out only. Close by to Skyhouse!
~My favorite order is the Antipasto Salad & The "White Out" Pizza:)

Dogwood Tavern has great food for daytime dining however popular as a locals/visitor hang out on weekend nights! Great drinks, pool tables, games, DJ and the staff are absolutely the best! A cool hang out up on the mountain:)

Mountain biking, rock climbing, ice/roller skating rink, adventure, fun, dining, entertainment, winter themed activities & of course the big man himself~ Santa Claus! Can be a little pricey, check website for available discounts & operating days/hours.

Hands down the very best view of the lake & dam. Our favorite place! Amazing playground with zipline, pavilion with multiple picnic tables, trail, exercise equipment, Basketball courts, Volleyball & dog park across the street! A must see/do!

My favorite hiking spot! If you have 4-wheel or truck you can drive down the trail (veer to the left at the split) to parking lot. You will save yourself a long walk & be a short distance to the Falls.
