Vega is our favorite place and has very good Italian food. On Wednesdays, wine bottles are half-price. Tuesdays are kids’ night, and can get loud! Everything is declicious, but we are partial to the lamb and polenta, with Buttermilk panna cotta for dessert.

One of the oldest establishments on Cortland. It has a great neighborhood vibe of regulars, beat cops, and families. Good coffee drinks, tea collection, and huge pastries.

Walk around Bernal hill (just walk straight up Andover, and up the stairs to the top of the hill for a view of the whole city.
Don't miss the swing hanging from the tree on the East side of the hill!

Great view of Golden Gate Bridge! From there you can follow a trail up the hill and along the coast to the Bridge. It's also good to know that the northernmost part of the beach is often occupied by nudists.
