Here's an amazing Portland restaurant must that lives up to the hype! If you're touring around downtown or making the waterfront loop, Luc Lac is in an easy downtown location right near the Hawthorne Bridge. The vibe is super hip, the prices are a great value and it is super delicious! The happy hour food menu!! so cheap and awesome. 4-7pm daily

This place is super popular so you will either have to wait a while for a table or do like I do...sit up at the bar. It's a brew pub. Their IPA is excellent...and every thing on the menu is super delicious.

Old school portland is right here!! Hangin tough among all the new stuff that has cropped up in town. This spot is top notch with the old Portland kitsch I fell in love with when I moved here over 20 years ago.

I've been going here since 2003. It is owned and run by friends of mine. Great juke box, delicious drinks and yummy food. If you like people watching it is a nice spot to sit and watch the world go by.

A treat for tourists and locals alike! I highly recommend this 3 mile loop for an urban hike, jog or bicycle ride. Great views of downtown. From the Steel Bridge to the Hawthorne Bridge you can make a loop from east side to west side on the downtown banks of the Willamette River.

Portland has the largest forested park within city limits in the USA! You can run/walk on a trail for over 30 miles and still remain within the city limits. We are so lucky to have this available within our city. Most trail heads are accessible by bus. I used to work for Forest Park Conservancy so I can hook you up with great run/hike trail loops within the park.

I'm so lucky to have this fantastic theatre so nearby! Hollywood Theatre is "the" spot to hit for old time cinema experience. They host some of the best current releases as well as showing more obscure showings hosted by film historians.
