If you're not sure if you like Indian food, go for lunch. Their linen table cloths and goblet water glasses make their lunch specials even more enjoyable. The lunch menu includes a variety of nibbles.

This smokehouse has amazing brisket and pulled-pork. Love the popcorn appetizer! For lunch, I get the two-meat meal of brisket and pulled pork and there is enough leftover for dinner.

The naturalists here can direct you to cool hiking spots. Sort of like a museum inside, there are "stuffed" animals that are indigenous to the area. In the winter, you can watch the Bald Eagles on a cam!

Located at 7,600 feet, Bluff Lake Reserve has towering pines, a 20-acre lake and meadow, and majestic outcrops of quartz monzonite. The reserve includes Southern California’s finest intact mountain marsh and meadow complex. The Bluff Lake Reserve is open to visitors seven days a week from 9 am to 6 pm, starting May 1 through November 1. Use is restricted to; hiking designated trails, picnicking, photography, bird-watching, quiet reflection, and other passive activities

Easy hike with spectacular views atop this stone boulder that looks like a castle. Watch out for Timber Rattlesnakes in spring and summer!

Kallans is less than 5 minutes from Island in the Sky and has some pretty great food along with beer, wine and the hard stuff. They do some karaoke nights, occasional bands, and have a game room with pool tables and darts. My fav to eat here is the chef salad.

The tour group size is limited to 16 people.
Walk-ins are possible but not guaranteed if the tour is full. Please call ahead to confirm availability.
Please note that children must be closely supervised at all times during the tour.
