The Crystal Bridge at Myriad Gardens is a bio-cylinder that spans across a lake! Inside it has huge palm trees and you feel like you are in a rain forest. Climb to the top and cross a suspended bridge over all the greenery and water falls. Cost is minimal.

Mitch Park is huge and it has some great trails to explore. There is a memorial for all the Edmond residents that passed away in the OKC Bombing of the Murrah Federal Building. It is a cool look out.

We love going down to Bricktown to see a movie. Most of the time we will eat down there first, and then pop in for a flick. Have kids? They have a Play Center in the movie theatre ran by trained, finger printed and background checked workers!

Any time of year this is a beautiful place to visit. We love the Children's Garden because it has a ton of areas for kids to roam and play. Not only that this botanical garden is unlike any I have seen before moving to OKC. It's FREE as well!

The Oklahoma City bombing of the Murrah Federal Building was a domestic act of terrorism in which the entire world watched as Oklahomans exhibited incredible acts of kindness, hospitality and brotherhood and sisterhood. This became known as the Oklahoma Standard. Visiting this memorial is not only in remembrance of those lives lost, but it is also a beacon of hope for the state, country and world.
The museum north of the memorial does cost to enter. The memorial is free.

This used to be OKC's premiere location to buy and sell cars! You can still see the old neon signs hanging from the large buildings that housed the car dealerships. Yes, indoors!

Summer is going to be crazy packed because of all the "swimming holes" but the rest of the year is fun to hike and explore. In the hills is an abandoned 1930s castle of an agricultural professor from OU. He built it as his summer home. Cool for pictures! And it is in the "mountains" of Oklahoma...yes we have mountains.
