This is a totally renovated barn done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

Stoney Lonesome Retreat

Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

You’ll have access to amenities such as wifi, a plush king size bed, full kitchen and bathroom including a seasonal outdoor shower (May-November) and even a beautiful fire pit right outside the front door. (Indoor full-sized court), 6-sided 2-story owner-built home, great for large groups, family reunions, business retreats, centrally located for WA/MT gatherings just 1 mile off I-90 at DeBorgia, MT. Hiking trails, huckleberry picking, fishing, firepit, Hiawatha Bike Trail, bird watching, wild turkeys even flying squirrels. In winter we are adjacent to miles of snowmobile and cross country ski trails or skiing at Lookout Pass Ski Area.

Upper - Cozy and Quiet Studio

This is a small studio with a very comfy remote controlled adjustable (head and feet) queen size bed, kitchen, and bathroom. Perfect for two. But we can make an exception and add a cot for an extra person or you may bring your own infant bed. This will make it a little tight but it’s doable. The kitchen has a microwave, hot plate and electric fry pan for cooking and a nice refrigerator.

The Two Medicine at Stoner Creek Cabins

Locally owned and operated, the Two Medicine at Stoner Creek Cabins is one of eight identical modern tiny homes located on ten wooded acres just beyond a residential neighborhood. We offer year-round comfort in a wooded setting. The Two Medicine is located on the hillside of the property with shared views into our forest from the living area and patio.

The Farm is a small family complex that sits on top of a hill with 360 views of the beautiful Flathead mountains, glacier park and both ski resorts. We are conveniently located 15 minutes from the glacier international airport and 10 minutes to the nearest grocery store. You can be in Glacier park in a half an hour.
