Shepherd hut -secluded riverside location

Our isolated shepherd’s hut is a cosy place with a large spacious shower and a comfortable king size bed. Recently fitted yet with some antique features. It has a private river view with its own private picnic table on the river too. There is a large garden area and private mooring. A porch area at the front and a cosy kitchen area to relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee...we provide toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave and there’s a fire pit on request and a local Tesco very close by.

Cosy annexe in an amazing location

This newly renovated annexe is self contained, and even though the living space is small, 4200mm x 3200mm, we have gone minimal to try and provide almost everything that guests would need, so there is a day bed with trundle in the lounge, storage cubes, small table and a tv on the wall. There is a small kitchen with a small worktop breakfast bar, fridge, Tower air fryer oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and sink unit. There is a separate shower room with toilet and basin with vanity unit.

At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. With its inglenook fireplaces, exposed beams and cosy rooms, it exudes country charm.
