It is a a quiet and tranquil spot. If you need a relaxing break, this is an ideal place. Nearest pub The Three Horseshoes is roughly a 5 min drive. We invite you to soak up this tranquil farm setting within walking distance to the seacliffes & seafront. There is a relaxing pond right by your tent and you will hear just the sounds of birds, crickets and livestock. Ideal for a break away from reality. Located in the historic and picturesque Anchorage area of beautiful Mersea Island the house is in a quiet and tranquil lane, with the sea a moments distance away. 50 Yards at the end of the lane turn left for pubs and restaurants and turn right to find the sea wall, with opportunities for bird watching and scenic dog walks. The property sleeps 5/6 people and has an enclosed garden with seating and bbq, there is also a large lockable shed for any outdoor equipment.

'The Cabin' is a comfortable, bright, two bedroom cottage on Mersea Island, a few steps from the sea on a much sought after quiet lane. There are two double bedrooms, one with a Super King bed the other with a King size bed and a bunk bed. There are great walks and bike rides either along the sea wall or on the beach, and some fantastic seafood eateries. Mersea Island is off the coast of Essex, 9 miles southeast of Colchester, just one hour from London.
