Whether you are single or travelling as a couple, the Old Rectory can offer you respite, privacy and comfort away from home.

In the pleasant village of Great Waldingfield, with a pub, village shop, and close to Sudbury (3 miles), Lavenham (4 miles), Bury St. Edmunds(16 miles). We are surrounded by beautiful Suffolk countryside and wildlife, with quiet roads and tracks for cycling and walking. We are just a 20 minute drive from the quaint market town of Bury St Edmunds and also within easy reach of Newmarket, Cambridge and Norwich. Guests can be confident that on arrival the accommodation will be sparkling clean and surfaces disinfected.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Once the site office for the builders of this row of Victorian town houses, this is now a delightful and characterful holiday home. We offer a beautifully decorated sitting and dining area, comfortable bed and a compact modern shower room. You will have fast broadband, tv with Sky/Netflix. Microwave, kettle & toaster, bread & cereal to make breakfast. You have your own entrance and can sit in our garden where you may be joined by our pets.

The Carter's Loft

Situated deep in the Suffolk countryside, The Carter's Loft is a beautifully presented studio bursting with charm. The popular local pub (White Horse) offers good food and local beer. There are numerous footpaths on the doorstep, a community cafe selling homemade cakes and refreshments (open 10.30 - 12.30 Wed - Thurs, occasional Sundays and some super evening events) plus our local vineyard. We are close to historic Framlingham and within easy reach of the heritage coast.

A unique rural barn with vaulted ceiling and medieval beams provides a tranquil but contemporary space, with a separate bathroom and extra storage space . Small space with kettle and breakfast items - tea, coffee, milk , muesli. Electric coolbox but no fridge or kitchen. Uninterrupted views from bi-fold doors to the private patio, mature garden and meadows. Tranquil and private, great for birdwatching. Table and chairs on patio for your own use. Sorry, no TV or wifi.

Charming cottage in idyllic setting

The Cottage is at the end of a pretty tree-lined drive set in the 12 acre grounds of Street Farm. It is a beautiful setting with water meadow and streams, surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. The cottage is detached and well away from the farmhouse making it a wonderfully peaceful and secluded place to relax. There are many footpaths to explore straight from the Cottage, with both the River Deben and Newbourne Springs Nature Reserve in easy walking distance.
