An important point to note is the fact that the New England Aquarium is engaged in the preservation of marine life through a variety of activities: it uses its funding for research, education and awareness, and endangered species conservation programs.
Giant ocean tank with over 2,000 animals A giant glass tank spiraled by a multilevel walkway is the main draw at this waterfront attraction.
The Aquarium is Downtown on the harbor. Easy to get there on the Metro. We highly recommend going on their Whale Watching tour. Boston Harbor is full of whales and the Aquarium ship knows just where to find them. Best time is from April to October.
