$ For the fast and furious HK experience! Among the locals it's more famous for its ultra-fast service and long lines (moves fast), than its food. If you're going, try the steamed almond milk + egg yolk 燉蛋 or steamed milk + egg white pudding 燉奶.

This is a classic Hong Kong cha chaan teng (tea restaurant) that has become something of an institution. If you come around midday to 3pm expect long cues but a quick turnover. This is not a place you're encouraged to linger. Definitely try the egg custard. This is also a good place to sample from local HK comfort food including the club sandwhich, macaroni in soup, half tea and half coffee mix and instant noodle with beef brisket.

"Australia Dairy Company" is one interesting place where you can have you lunch/breakfast and experience the efficiency of Hong Kong - they take their order before you settled and the food come like 15 seconds within your order.
