Lovely spot for a picnic. Not a sandy beach but does have a nice view across to the Harbour Bridge.

Little Shoal Bay is only a 10 minute walk away (750 metres). It is a favourite spot for locals and visitors who use it for picnics, children’s play, informal sports or the start point for a stroll through Le Roys Bush and the largest remaining raupo wetland on the North Shore. There is a great playground, a tennis and a basketball court and a coin operated barbecue.
