Rent a canoe from Wild River Outfitters and paddle down the beautiful St. Croix River. They will shuttle you and the canoe. This is a great place to get tourist information, and the owner is very helpful. it is a cute gift shop too!

See eagles, deer, and other wildlife on your trip. Swim or fish in the clear water. The St. Croix River is a National Treasure! This is a wonderful activity, if you are staying with us for a length of time! This picture was taken by Aimee, a family friend. It won an award. The woman pictured is our daughter, Annie, when she was seventeen. They both worked for Wild River Outfitters at the time.

Excellent outfitters. The best canoeing on the St Croix River is north of Hwy 70 and they can drop you off so can can canoe back to Hwy 70 (very close to them).
