Burlington - ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, formerly the Lake Champlain Basin Science Center, is located on the Burlington waterfront in northern Vermont. It is home to more than 70 species of fish, amphibians, invertebrates, and reptiles, major traveling exhibitions, and the multimedia Awesome Forces Theatre.

Fantastic for families with young children. Fish, frogs, turtles, and snakes...and lots of science fun. In downtown Burlington, on the boardwalk along Lake Champlain.

Vermont’s science and nature museum on the waterfront! Don’t let the word “museum” fool you, this is an excellent place for the whole family. Tons for the kids and adults to interact with and do. My family and I love this place and we think yours might too.

Great little museum for the kids! Packed with local history as well. Check to see if your local museum pass gets you a discount!
