Wrapped in pine and adorned with antlers, fishing nets and trophy photos, Pinon Cafe serves as a kind of welcome wagon to the forested lushness of Rim Country. You’ll find plenty of diner favorites and some unexpected delights. Huevos benedictos ($7.25) put a rowdy Southwestern spin on eggs benedict. Poached eggs and spicy chorizo nestle on an English muffin and are smothered in green chile sauce. They’re served with potatoes and a wedge of watermelon, which helps cool off your taste buds.
