Tucked away in Hongdae, Anthracite is located in a former shoe factory, with raw steel materials as part of the decor. You can watch Orion as she roasts fabulous coffee on-site. They also offer regular cupping sessions, which you can sign up for on their website. Butter Fat Trio Ale, the result of a collaboration with ARK handcraft beer, is rich and smooth. You can taste the soft texture of ale blended with strong espresso. The coffee shop’s owner, a former musician, named this coffee after a Chicago jazz group.

There are many things to see and enjoy. Freitag, D&Department is B1,1F so you can look out there too. Anthracite Coffee is one of the best cafes in South Korea. This is the 3rd branch, the 1st cafe is located in Sangsu-dong.
