Located right in the heart of Bangor town on the sunny side of Belfast Lough, offering the finest marine and onshore facilities. An active, fun-loving destination for boaters, anglers, rowers, Stand Up Paddleboarders and families!

From property turn right. Then left down station road under bridge right towards golf club, left down path to coast, approx 5 mins. On coastal path walk to the right and along coastal path to bangoe marina, approx 20 min walk. Taking in the breathtaking views on route. Stop for a coffee in one of the coffee shops near by, Guilemots is my favourite, opposite the marina. Can with walk back or train for £2 back to Carnaleaonly 2 stops away

The marina is a great place to start your walk. There is a children’s play park, cafe, and coastal path all the way to Hollywood a village known for its cafes and shops.

Lots of boats - power boats, yachts, fishing boats, research vessels and even the occasional Tall Ship. In summer boat tours run from the west side. Centre-point of North Down Coastal Path which runs from Holywood to Groomsport with great sea views and coastal scenery. Seals, black guillemots (which nest in the piers) and eider ducks are often seen inshore.

Bangor Marina has a great variety of cafes, ice-cream parlours and occassionally bikers and free jumpers. You can follow the beautiful coastal path all the way to Holywood and get the train back if you are feeling adventurous. I would class it as an easy route for regular walkers, or moderate for those less experienced due to some slight inclines.
