2 large beaches, fun for walking or just hanging out. Nice hiking trail along the bluff on the Khartoum Trail. Park on the road or at the Blind Beach parking lot.

Goat Rock Beach: This large beach is bordered by the mouth of the Russian River to the north and Goat Rock to the south. Bring a picnic and take in the views from the picnic tables, explore the Kortum hiking trail and view (from a distance of at least 50 meters) the seals that hang out here in spring and summer.

Great place to stroll on the beach or along the cliffs overlooking the ocean.

Goat Rock has it all; hiking, biking, searching for seashells. We recommend that you do not swim or wade in the ocean as there are very strong rip tides and sleeper waves at this beach. If you want to splash around, head to the river side of the beach!
