Access nearest Bicheno (12 km north of town) is a short walk to a beautiful fresh water lagoon. You can continue on a comfortable 2 day walk through stunning native bushland. Rivers and streams with beautiful rock boulders for hopping across. Bring your camping gear, an excellent hike to do late spring when the wild flowers are blooming.

Douglas Aspley is an amazing fresh water swimming hole only 15mins from Bicheno. From the National Park car park it is only a short 10 min walk. Providing some of Tasmania’s best fresh water swimming all year around 😁. Don’t let the cold put you off.
