There's a nice restaurant as you walk into the Cidadela fortress to your right. It might be a bit expensive but the "petiscos" are pretty good and shouldn't throw you too off budget.

Anhistorical monu ment, the Cascais fort has been well preserved now been converted into a sightseeing spot, with cofee shops, singular boutiques & restaurants.
