World class cross country skiing at a low price! Take Casper Mountain Road switch-backing up the mountain to arrive at the Trails Center (20 mins). Park here to set off on your wilderness explore--cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, or fat tire mountain biking. A one-day pass is $10 per person and includes a free hot drink (coffee, tea, hot chocolate.) Friendly, low key lodge offers reasonably priced food, drinks, and snacks. Trails open year round. Lodge open in winter. 1.2 km of trail is lighted for night skiing. (Cross-country ski or snow show equipment must be brought with or rented in town. Can not be rented here.)
