Nicknamed the Dead Zoo - see some indigenous and other animals - skeletal and stuffed! Great treat for kids.

The "Dead Zoo" as known by Dubliners, beautiful old building, especially upstairs. The Museum's collection and building have changed little since Victorian times, and it is sometimes described as a "museum of a museum." Admission is free.

The natural history museum - nicknamed the Dead Zoo by Dubliners - is a great spot to wander for an hour or two. It's free (as are most museums in Dublin), right in the city centre, and walking distance to most other amenities
