À propos de ce logement
Diner is a pioneer. Opened in 1999 by a young Andrew Tarlow as his first foray into Brooklyn (a borough with a dining scene of which he is now rightfully King), it's safe to consider it the birthplace of the effortlessly cool restaurant vibe. For starters, it's housed in a dining car and servers present the day's offerings (note Diner's website, which states: "our menu changes daily, dudes") by scribbling them on your butcher-paper tablecloth. The food is seasonally-inspired, comforting, and all-around solid. And the menu's mainstay is a burger and fries — which remains, to this day, amongst the city's very best.

Informal, local spot, menu changes nightly. A few things: Don't miss the panna cotta if they have it (reserve one when you sit down, they always run out). The burger is perfect, but so is the spaetzle/schnitzel and lettuces. There will be a wait on weekends, but the bar isn't a bad place to have …

I love the charm of this place. Great for brunch or a Moody evening meal. This diner car offers a unique ambiance for those wanting to step back in time.

Cool place, in a train's diner car, at the foot of the Williamsburg Bridge.
