The lodge at Mt. Charleston is only approximately 45 minute drive from Las Vegas. Great scenery on the drive up. About 20 degrees cooler than Vegas, with snow often in the winter months. The view at the lodge is stunning with an outdoor patio and the food is good (not fabulous) but the views are…

Cathedral rock hike is a great hike to start your Mt. Charleston adventures. I recommend then heading to Mary Jane falls, which is another great hike. Plenty of trees if you miss green.

Centre commercial
“Summerlin residents and westside locals like the Tivoli village. Dine at one of their restaurants, Get spruced up at their posh Hair Salon, there's plenty of shopping, David Barton Gym (they accept ClassPass), it's very posh and easy to get in and out of. Around Winter time, they have the Santa's North Pole experience where you take your kids to meet a very very real looking Santa and his helpers. ”

Piste de bowling
“We love Red Rock Lanes because it's clean, (and they have Cherry Icees!). The food is good for bowling alley food(the restaurant opens loosely around noon) and they do have a bar. Great for the kids with lightweight balls and bowling rails and bumpers to make it easier for the little ones (or the adults who need help, lol).”

Aliments
“Awesome bar and restaurant in the middle of some incredibly scenic desert. If you're able to get out there I highly recommend it. Food won't blow you away but for where it is, it's better than it needs to be. ”

Bar
“Whimsical decor (western-meets-medieval?) and fun jukebox selections make this bar a Fremont Street staple. On weekend nights look for the back room to open with resident djs. Come here on cold nights to warm up by the fireplace. ”
