There is a special vibe here that is so unique. There are the views, the beautiful patio, the colorful people, the great selection of dishes. I love the hamburger with added avocado. When I lived in L.A. I knew people who drove here just for lunch and would drive back to L.A. the same day! People…

Sitting on the terrace, enjoying a glass of wine, an Ambrosia Burger, or one of their exceptional homemade desserts is a quintessential California experience. The first time visitor to the Central Coast will not want to miss it. Once you have visited, you are destined to return.

Beautiful view! Can get very busy. Great after a hike or drive down the coast.

“Julia Pfeiffer Burns is a place you will never forget. There is the famous waterfall that you have seen so many pictures of. I wouldn't try going down the the beach below because not only is it treacherous but also carries a hefty fine. No matter which way you head you will see views like you never have. I'm pretty sure they still let you have small weddings here. You can't beat that. You'll want to spend a lot of time taking pictures so wear comfortable shoes.”

“Take a beach towel, pack a lunch and some adult beveridges. You can sit out on the lawn and picnic. If you don't want to take your own food, eat at the restaurant overlooking the river. Then go sit in one of the lawn chairs in the river.”

“Breathtaking views for the everyone! Watch colorful birds, migrating whales and sea lions all year round at this fantastic nature reserve, which is perfect for walking, hiking, bird watching, and trails exploring. Don’t leave your camera behind and having a good pair of binoculars is not a bad idea. Point Lobos (Wolf Point in English) was made famous by the iconic images of the great Edward Weston. And like all nature parks around the world, be very careful and do not leave any valuables inside a car. Vehicle entrance fees is $10 to drive into this state park, $9 for seniors 62 and over. Arrive early for during peak hours parking is limited or if someone prefers and loves to walk they can park outside for free and hike in. At the kiosk entrance volunteer guides will answer questions and also sell paper map for $2. There are 2 outhouses at the entrance of the parking lot and also 2 bathrooms with real flushing toilets behind the kiosk. ”
