Take the paved trail along the waterfront to watch the ferries come and go and the tide roll in and out or stay up top and log some miles by connecting the various trails the run north, south, east and west.

A fantastic park with multiple trails overlooking the beautiful Puget Sound, Vashon Island, and the Olympic Mountains. The park also includes free parking, picnic areas, various sporting fields, playground, beach front paths/views, and a heated salt water pool available in the summer.

A massive ocean park! The drive over the West Seattle bridge is well worth it to spend the day hiking, exploring the beach, and swimming in Seattle’s saltwater pool (Colman). The beach is rocky (for sandy beach try Golden Gardens) with lots of driftwood and logs. Parking is free and you can…
