Amazing views. Great workout spot on the stairs heading down the blacks beach (warning: nude beach). You can paraglide off the cliff over the beach.
Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of San Diego’s exceptional Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, by swooping serenely overhead in a paraglider. Torrey Pines Gliderport is home to one of the most successful paragliding schools in North America, and flight experiences start from $165.
Stunning views to visit or take a glider over the ocean! Breathtaking and daring!
You can hang glide, paraglide or watch the others with a gorgeous view of Black's Beach in La Jolla. Free. Small snack shop.

“Great place for hiking and dramatic coastal views. My favorite hike is the Ho Chi Minh trail (start from Torrey Pine's Gliderport). You can hike down to Black's Beach from there -- San Diego's very own nude beach! The Ho Chi Minh trail hike is challenging, you'll have to walk through slot canyons, streams and climb down the side of a rock with a rope. There is a more accessible trail right next to the Gliderport. ”

“A favorite among local food snobs (not the trendy blogger types but the true picky eaters) this understated Italian restaurant never disappoints. From casual fare like pizza to veal sweetbreads and lots of noodles and stuffed pasta variations, you’ll have a true Italian meal from start to finish!”
