A must visit when in DC, plus they are usually open later than other museums until 7:30 pm! (Just double check with Google prior to heading over for a late visit)

Wonderful tours every day and the atrium is a real treat to spend time in. Building was formerly the patent office.

Great museum! The atrium is very romantic and serves wine and cheese platters. Also the indoor space has water fountains that will keep the kids busy while you take a break.
