On the UW campus, the Burke is awesome for kids (dinos! snakeskins! crystals!) but also has an incredible Native art collection if interested. Don't forget to go downstairs.

“ GREENLAKE - One of Seattle's most beloved neighborhoods enticing visitors with its vast array of activities. The expanse of water and green space in the center of a dense urban neighborhood draws thousands of people daily from all over the city - a social gathering place surrounded by a multitude of amenities. The 3-mile path around the lake (just one block from house) provides a perfect recreational spot for walking, jogging, biking, and skating.”

Parc
“The BEST dog park ever! Complete with a large field, trails, beach front, and a designated small/shy dog area. Our dogs always have a blast when we take them here, and they love when we make a stop by the Seattle Barkery Treat Truck on our way out. (I know the link is to the regular park, for some reason I couldn't get the Off-Leash park link to work. They are in the same area)”

“My favorite grocery store. Fresh organic produce, great cheeses, drinks etc. Large selection for a co-op. It's a local co-op chain and they do a great job and treat the community and their employees well. ”
