Pub food, nice selection, friendly staff and service. This is truly where the locals go. A country town pub, no frills but goid relaxed atmosphere.

This is a pretty classic old school NZ pub experience and don't be put off by the locals hanging around outside smoking and drinking their bourbons and coke. Drink selection isn't that great and the food can be hit and miss, although I've had some great burgers and chips there and the food is well priced. Unfortunately they seem to have discontinued the 500g rump steak with a couple of fried eggs on it.....real truck stop kiwi tucker.
