Lots of waterfowl and serene place to relax. Busy in the summer and winters with bikers, kayakers, kids, walkers, runners, picnics, and ice skaters.
The famous Tony Knowles Trail goes by here and continues along the coast between downtown and Kincaid Park in south Anch. Lots of birds and people recreating, skiiing, biking, skating in winter, jogging or walking.

Great place to start a walk on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. Absolutely stunning sunsets. In the winter you can skate-ski or fat-tire bike from here. You can also go ice-skating on the lake. In the summer it's a great spot to bird-watch or go paddle-boarding.
