One of our favourites. Great steaks, but you will definitely have to book even on a week night!

This is a few minutes stroll from Talbot House. One of the oldest pubs in the village with a long history. A must to see is the dog wheel, which used to turn the spit at the open fire in the past. Staff are friendly and a good atmosphere. Food usually very good.

The oldest Working Pub in England. Good food, ales and ciders in a beautiful medieval stone and timber building.

Lovely historic environment. Great views over the mead in summer. Good food. Fab breakfasts!
