“South End is Charlotte's best destination for breweries, restaurants, and shopping. Walk or bike the Rail Trail along the LYNX Light Rail. Many breweries and restaurants are both kiddo and doggo friendly!”

“Downtown Charlotte is called "uptown". There are great restaurants and bars including two rooftop bars. Merchant and Tade is more upscale and often has a line waiting to get to the roof. Farenheight is also upscale but it is on the roof of a resdiential building so the bar area tends to be more casual and the restaurant area more upscale. The bar here feels to me a little more touristy but it IS a great place for a selfie! The NASCAR Hall of Fame, The Mint Museum and a couple of theaters are uptown.”
