A downtown landmark for 40 years serving Southern comfort food and classic Cajun recipes at lunch. Great Shrimp etouffee, red beans and rice, cornbread, vegetables and delicious cake by the slice. Daily specials. A must go! 1117 Texas Ave. in Christ Church Cathedral (M-F, 11a-2p). This location only open at lunch. Now they have a new location on I-10 at Bunker Hill which is open for dinner and has a great patio.
