There is a slew of coffee places on Mount Royal ave, Starbucks, Café dépôt, Second Cup and some that are smaller and independent - my favourite is Brulerie St Denis, 3967 Saint Denis St, 20 min walk

2 minutes walk from my doorsteps, this place stays open till 2 am, has wifi internet and lots of electrical sockets for long haulers!
