Lancing is a shingle beach between Shoreham-by-Sea and Worthing. At low tide a vast section of wet, compact sand is revealed which is popular with dog walkers. At the back of the beach are a number of pastel coloured beach huts. Lancing is home to a sailing club and the beach is popular with sailing enthusiasts, windsurfers and kite-surfers. The surfing conditions are at their beast here during the winter months. The beach is divided into zones to keep watersport enthusiasts away from the bathers. A café, serving hot food, cakes and beverages can be found right on the beach. Behind the beach is Lancing Beach Green, which has a children’s play area and a new BMX and skate park. The green is occasionally used for funfairs, car boot sales and seasonal markets.

Its very nice beach, not many tourists on daily basis. You can have BBQ there with your friends and family, children can enjoy sand beach here on a low tide. It’s great for kitesurfing!!! The public parking is on the lancing seaside where you can leave your car for whole day for £4 only.

Wide open space with long beaches and a large green if you prefer to be on grass. Paddleboards can be hired here, lessons are available too. The Perch Cafe offers a wonderful selection of food and drinks.

This is our favourite beach. Easy to park (£1.50 a day), right next to the beach. The Perch has great food/drink, there's an ice cream stall and public toilets.
