To get to the Hudnalls, take a right out of the cottage up the hill, follow Offas Dyke signposts, which will take you up a small trail and then down back onto the lane. Shortly afterwards turn left off the lane when there is a sign post to Offas dyke. Follow the path for a minute or two and when the path forks, don't follow the Offa's dyke sign, but instead turn left into the woods. Shortly after that you will see a sign welcoming you to the Hudnalls nature reserve. Follow the path down to the river and walk downstream towards Brockweir from there (where you could stop at the Brockweir Inn for a nice pub lunch!). You can follow the Offa's dyke signs uphill back to the cottage.
