Tartan & Mill Tour - Lochcarron of Scotland is a Five-Star VisitScotland tourist attraction. The largest working textile mill in the Scottish Borders. The mill is based in the beautiful Scottish Borders town of Selkirk. The town has a long and rich history with the textile industry, at one point over seven thousand townsfolk were employed within various aspects of textile manufacturing. Why not experience our popular mill tour, which will go through step by step the processes of creating our famous tartan and tweed cloth, which are used by well known designers on the catwalk. We offer a large selection of products which are created from within our mill, as well as other gift items, you can buy off the peg items to take away or can have a custom made to measure items such as a kilt, tailored skirt and serape. These items will be forwarded on to the customer when made and ready to ship. We have exclusive collections of knitwear, coats and jackets are complemented by a wide range of accessories and gift items. We also have a beautiful range of clothing accessories to accompany and brighten up any outfit.
