Fairhaven is a historical district in Southern Bellingham. It is also the furthest North Amtrak station before you cross into Canada, the docking port for the Alaska Ferry and home to hundreds of historical buildings. It has dozens and dozens of small locally owned restaurants, bookstores and antique shops. One of the trendiest places around.
