Confederate Memorial Hall is a museum and opened its doors in New Orleans on January 8, 1891, and since that time has been commemorating the military history and heritage of the South. The museum is the oldest in Louisiana and houses one of the largest collections of Confederate memorabilia in the United States. It contains historical artifacts related to the Confederate States of America and the American Civil War. It is historically also known as "Memorial Hall".
