Cloud land is beautiful, even if you pop in for a cocktail just to say you’ve been there, Thursday night is Salsa night. Every other day featuring an Italian restaurant for lunch and dinner, this is most definitely a place to visit!!

Incredible interior design of a heritage building (Empire Hotel). It is described as eclectic and eccentric. Absolutely amazing. I love this place. It was one of the buildings featured in the Brisbane Open House weekend.

“Fun, exciting bar for some after work drinks. Located in the city this is a great place to go to for some after work drinks before heading out. Huge area with a variety of seats both indoors and outdoors. They have heaters outside in the winter, and at least 3 bars. Nice view over the river as well to watch the sun set!”

“Don't miss the opportunity to get in touch with Koalas! Meet a koala, hand-feed kangaroos and engage with a large variety of Australian wildlife in Lone Pine's beautiful, natural settings. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary opened in 1927 as a safe refuge for sick, injured, and oprhaned koalas, at a time when the species was being culled for the fur trade. Founder, Claude Reid, recognised something had to be done to help protect one of Australia's most iconic species. Today, Lone Pine remains as a destination for local and international guests to not only see native Australian animals, but to also connect and learn, and to leave feeling inspired to make small, positive changes in their daily lives to help protect their own native wildlife and habitats. P.S. Queensland is the only state that allows visitors to hold Koalas. Contact: 61 7 3378 1366 Time: open 7 days a week, 9am-5pm (open Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day 9am - 5pm.
