Hiking trails, kayaking... but it all depends on the weather. The lakes can dry up over the summer, best for fall and spring.

At about 2,000 acres, it is one of the largest urban freshwater wetlands in the United States. It's a nice place to hike.

This nature preserve has trails of varying lengths and some lovely opportunities for spotting wildlife year-round. Keep your eyes peeled for nutria, our own local ROUSes.

Awesome place for a Stand Up Paddle (SUP), or canoeing adventure. No motors allowed on these 2 lakes. Some walking paths nestled in there.
