If you have a Boat, this is a must see, Nature at its best, great walking trails and very nice Beach at Park Head Quarters.
Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Raw beauty abounds on every shore of this 9 mile/ 15 km long island. Rocks sculptured by water, and ice are adorned with famous Georgian Bay White Pines. All this is topped off by the vast dome of the sky that colors the water in the numerous inlets, and neighboring islands. And then there are the fish too,
Georgian Bay Islands National Park consists of 63 small islands or parts of islands in Georgian Bay, near Port Severn, Ontario. The total park area is approximately 13.5 km². Prior to the creation of Fathom Five National Marine Park, Flowerpot Island was also a part of the park. The islands blend the exposed rocks and pines of the Canadian Shield with the hardwood forests found further south. The park can only be reached by boat; there are limited camping facilities on the largest island, Beausoleil Island. It is part of the Georgian Bay Littoral Biosphere Reserve.
