Want to see the ships on the Mississippi? Head here with a daiquiri from the whole on the corner or Carrollton Ave and St Charles and watch all the boats head down the Mississippi River. I’d suggest this in the morning or evening during the summer as it’s super hot out there

Tucked behind Audubon Zoo across the Mississippi River levee, this waterfront portion of Audubon Park is a great spot to relax and take a breath from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans. Known to locals as ‘The Fly’, folks come out here to hang out, toss a frisbee, have a crawfish boil, barbecue, or watch the sun go down over the river. We have two bikes available for rent which from the fly you can bike the leave along the Mississippi River.
