Arguably the best brunch spot in SF in the best neighborhood in SF. Cole Valley is full of charms -- you can check this place out on your way into Golden Gate Park. I recommend brunch, but it's also great for lunch and dinner. Dogs are allowed on the patio Monday nights.

Stellar selection of beers on tap and great food too! Be careful in this neighborhood though. It's right on the edge of the Tenderloin -- do not venture deeper into this neighborhood. Go in, have a great drink, and go straight home in a cab.

Fort Mason hosts Off the Grid, a food truck event, every Friday night from 5-10. It can get real crazy and crowded!! Despite that, it's fun event with good food that's pure California.

If you're here more than a couple days, I highly recommend a day trip to Napa (or Sonoma)! Take the 101 over the Golden Gate to get there. It's 10 min longer and one of the most beautiful drives ever.
