This is in the 'Everything Else' category because RED ROCKS is a must see for so many reasons. It is one of the world's most famous music venues since the early 1900s. It is a stunning park to hike or drive to see the amphitheater! You can easily drive to the top of the park where you can experience for yourself the beauty of the towering red rocks and natural acoustics. There is a music hall of fame museum and a wonderful restaurant on site as well.

This newer museum to Denver offers works of up-and-coming artists. The variety of art is amazing and on the roof of this architecturally edgy building is a lovely spot for a bit of coffee, wine, or snacks. The views from the cafe are great.

One of the best-kept museum secrets in Colorado. This museum is packed with early-to-mid century vintage collectables. It is being relocated in the summer of 2016 to a space that will allow viewing of the entire collection.
Through the wonderment of Vance Kirkland, a notable artist and fine/decorative art collector, you will see the best example of what a small museum can do to preserve and protect the past.

This lovely lake is at the center of Evergreen's beauty. One mile of walkways wind through the beautiful wetlands beside the amazing lake house and around the lake, across the dam and by the golf course. The grounds are often used for weddings and concerts. Evergreen Lake is Number 2 on the top ten lakes to skate in the world. I'm actually not kidding..... Evergreen Lake is also right beside lovely downtown Evergreen with amazing quaint shops, bars, and beautiful restaurants. It's actually the most lovely town in the world, but I would say that; I've lived here for over 25 years!

9661 County Hwy 73Located just 3 miles south of our home this little peace on earth is a hiking/mountain biking treasure. There are several trails 1 to 3 miles in length, each meanders through the beautiful pine forest. Well marked and maintained, this is a gem.

A must-see. DBG is one of the most spectacular botanic gardens you will find in the USA. Every year you can attend concerts in the outdoor amphitheater and there are featured art works displayed throughout the 22 acres, 2 lovely eateries, tropical garden, 12 huge greenhouses, Japanese garden with a section of amazing bonsai, and botanic amazement throughout. Open late in the summer months this makes for a great romantic stroll and picnic spot to escape warmer Denver days.

MUST DO: Aside from the amazing food and the fantastic porch overlooking the trout stream and ducks, you're not going to find better wine in Colorado, seriously. This is where we always take our visitors. We order the large amazing antipasti platter (which feeds 4-6 people), order a couple bottles of their wine, and talk away the afternoon. This place is located in downtown Evergreen and right across from the famous Little Bear Saloon.
