This is my favorite bar on Broadway, if you must head that way. The music is normally NOT cover band music like the rest of Broadway has, but original music from up and comers and local legends alike. The cocktails and food are stellar as well, and there's a fourth floor patio worth checking out.

The cocktails and food are stellar as well, and there's a fourth floor patio worth checking out.
If you find yourself in East Nashville looking for drinks, this is a good place to start. The bar serves as a center point in the middle of the area called, "Five Points," where there are several other bars. East Nashville is generally smokier, divier, and more hipster than other bar areas.

This is by far the best cocktail bar in town. You must go. It's expensive, but the bang for your buck is unmatched. There is a dress code and set of rules preserving the sexy, but it's worth the effort.

This is the East Side's best cocktail bar. Incredible cocktails, perhaps only bested by the Patterson House, as well as great food and more space than Patterson House provides.

At Kix Brooks's winery, you can bring a picnic basket, have a wine tasting, buy a bottle of wine (or several), and enjoy the incredible views of the winery, if you're looking for a date or just a nice lunch/dinner outside. And yes: the wine is great.

This is one of the original boutique coffee shops in Nashville before the big boom. Reasonably priced, with the always great Bongo Basic breakfast, I highly recommend it. Bongo has a few shops around town, but this is the original.

This southern fusion restaurant is one of the very best in town, but also one of the very best kept secrets. There are a lot of restaurants at this higher price point right now, but none are as consistently incredible as this place, and you don't have to dress up to seem at home.

This place has the best NY-style pizza in town, and a massive list of topping options. On Tuesdays, it's 2-4-1 slices and beers. I go here regularly for that, but they also have great pasta and other things. Tuesday nights are 21+.
