Food Scene
This is a bit of a Nashville staple and also known for the winding line outside. The line moves quickly though and is totally part of the experience! Great pancakes, good service, and if you get there early in the morning (before 9) the line will be minimal to non-existent. My favorite is the sweet potato pancakes if you're looking for a suggestion :)

This is another Nashville staple and was known for a while as somewhere you could spot Taylor Swift. In the hip street center of Hillsboro Village, the wifi cuts out around busy times but who needs wifi when there's such good people watching and food! Their muffins are wonderful and go great with their coffee while you look out through their large windows overseeing the street.

Their muffins are wonderful and go great with their coffee while you look out through their large windows overseeing the street.
Great food and a bit of a classier scene while still being casual. Always great food and right off music row so many music industry professionals have that as their go-to spot.

My FAVORITE coffee shop in Nashville. The coffee is not only good to taste but also for your wallet! The standard drip coffee is only $5 and fills two mugs. The whole space is very open as it is in an old car repair shop. The best is when they open up the garage door on beautiful days! They also have a rotating collection of vinyls for the background music.

This is kind of a secret spot and is my favorite Thai place. Don't be scared by the double-wide trailer fact of the establishment. The Pad Thai is awesome (and yet incredibly budget friendly) and gives you a unique view of the Nashville food scene

There are burgers, then there are "Pharmacy" burgers. The buns are honestly possibly the best part. You have to go early enough but when it's a beautiful day be sure to ask to go outside in the beer garden, you won't regret it!

These drinks are definitely more expensive, but I would say stop here for a cool vibe and an amazing drink! In the midtown bar strip so you can start your night off here then just walk down to grab yourself a few more that are more affordable!

I cannot make up this description: the only way you know you're at this bar is because it's the one with the painted bricks around the door. I know, it sounds a little ridiculous but it's one of my favorite places to go. Good drinks and a well-designed place. Many different games to play and places to sit. Your eyes will never get bored from all the quirky and cool sights in there!

Sightseeing
This is the only replica, to-scale, Parthenon you will see outside of Greece. In the middle of a public park where there is live music in a concert series called Musician's Corner, it is really cool to see this building just right in the middle of Nashville.

Right at the top of this hill you can see all of Nashville from Vanderbilt's campus to the downtown skyline. It's an incredible view that is a must see especially for pictures!

I can't just say it's a clothing store, but it's where I always go if I want to get a little "Nashville" gift or presents for friends when I don't want to be too touristy. Really cool stuff, that's all I'll say. Especially for girls.

Only 2 miles from the apartment, this Kroger isn't the biggest but it certainly has a lot and arguably al that you need! There is a second story in case you are looking for something and can't find it on the first floor.

Our local independent movie theater just reopened and still maintains it's local, vintage feel. They always have a cool and interesting movie showing and it's also a non-profit.
