Steuben's is a great, moderately priced restaurant and bar with a fun ambiance and consistently great food! Many people bring their children, because the children's menu is wonderfully healthy and good. But grown-ups are known to be willing to wait in line for a place at these tables! There's a large outdoor patio which serves in all but very cold weather because of the overhead heating elements.

Ace is known for great Asian fusion cuisine, a comfortable bar, and multiple ping-pong tables. The place is huge, with ping pong in a large room in the back, as well as outside on the patio when the weather is nice. The dining room area is just enough separated from the noisier bar and the wild ping pong areas that it's a very enjoyable space. Try the Tom Kha soup, and the house sauces are amazing!

They have an outdoor patio that's perfect for those who don't want to be inside with all the TV screens.

They have an outdoor patio that's perfect for those who don't want to be inside with all the TV screens.
This is a wonderful place to go for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free offerings - even if you're not V-V-GF, you'll find something to enjoy.

A bit further from my home, but well worth it. I love the ribs especially, but all the meats and sides are excellent. The do-it-yourself sauce bar is an afficionado's heaven, with sweet, hot, mustard, and many other kinds of BBQ sauces to go with your order.

While Wyman's is a very lively sports bar, with a great selection of beers and other things, the pizza is excellent and worth the trip if you have a car. I like the thin crust Tree Hugger with Pepperoni.

Liks, right next door to Wyman's Pizza/Bar, is the perfect place for satisfying your ice cream cravings. All of the flavors are delicious, but the BEST is their Jack Daniels Chocolate Chip!

There are many coffee bars in my neighborhood, but this is so easy to get to, with great coffees, meeting spaces, and internet and printing options. Great to just hang out.

You can drive, bike, or take the light rail, but you shouldn't miss this wonderful Mexican hole-in-the-wall. Be warned: their food induces cravings that really can't be satisfied by other Mexican restaurants. My favorite is the Taco Plate, with either Lengua (tongue) or al Pastor (marinated pork). Sometimes I do both!

Marczyk's, which is an upscale grocery and wine store, can be a very expensive place to shop; but the offerings are of excellent quality. BUT, they make wonderful fresh/hot sandwiches that are delicious and very reasonable. A good spot for a lunch stop.

D Bar was originally just for desserts, and they were wonderful! Now they've opened as a restaurant, still with desserts, but with great food as well. All their food is good, but their Brussels Sprouts are exceptional.
NOTE: D Bar is located on the corner of 19th Avenue and Pennsylvania Street. I can't get this app to give the correct address. It is NOT on 17th Avenue.
