Parks & Nature
Amager Fælled (in english "Amager Common") is a beautiful national park right next door to our apartment. I don't think there's no other place in Europe with such large open natural surroundings near such a big city. The place has fantastic animal and bird life. This place is great for picnics, just for a walk, or jogging in the morning.
Amager Fælled has a history as both a place of executions and for the testing of military weapons, but nowadays you hardly meet anything more controversial than joggers, birdwatchers and families out for a walk.

Dybbølsbro is an "S-train" station. The S-trans go everywhere in and outside of CPH. You can use the S-train to get around in CPH or to get to the museums outside of the city.

The yellow harbour buses are a great and a cheap alternative to the official canal tours. But also a great way to get to the city, seeing the harbour on the way.

Fisketorvet is a shopping centre located only 10 minutes by foot. Fisketorvet has a floor area of 58,000 square metres, with 120 stores, making it Denmark's third largest shopping centre. It also contains 15 restaurants and cafés as well as a CinemaxX cinema with 10 screens.
The shopping centre takes its name after Copenhagen's old fish market which was located at the site from 1958 until 1999 when it moved to new premises in the North Harbour.
